What is Micro Export?

Micro Export Definition:

It can be made as "export model carried out electronically by authorized cargo companies abroad". Unlike traditional exports, micro exports do not require Exporters' Association registration or customs brokerage services. Therefore, it is a preferred export model for small-scale export shipments.

Micro Export is the export transactions that do not exceed 300 kilograms of weight and 15 thousand EUR value, are made for strict and commercial purposes, have no restrictions and do not require a different regime, and are made with the Electronic Trade Customs Declaration (ETGB ).

Micro Export for SMEs

Together with the proforma, an e-archive invoice must be issued for the amount of the proforma without VAT, in TL currency and including the HS code information. Products within these limits can only be sent to customers abroad with ETGB issued by authorized delivery companies. Micro Export legislation has enabled thousands of companies to expand abroad and is widely used, especially by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Except for certain products within the scope of Micro Export, there are products that cannot be sent abroad. Products that are in need of repair, goods to be returned to the country, free samples and gifts are excluded. In addition, some medicines and chemical products cannot be sent abroad with micro exports.
